What is the brew temperature setting for Low, Medium and High?
The ideal water temperature for brewing espresso is between 87–96°C.
Your KitchenAid Fully automatic espresso machine has 3 temperature levels (Low-Medium-High) which are all within this optimal range. You can adjust as you like, tuning the temperature slightly up or down (+/- 2°C to 5°C) to get the best taste, depending on factors like grind size, dose, roast and freshness of the coffee beans.
Why is the removable bean hopper important?
The KitchenAid Fully automatic espresso machines are designed to encourage exploration!
We make it simple for you to change beans and try out different roasts and coffees. Beans are ground in the machine, but you also have the option to pour pre-ground coffee directly into the shaft if you have some you'd like to try.
